The Giles 20315-R Thermocouple Ungrounded Kit senses temperature by generating a small electrical signal as heat changes at its sensing junction. Its unsupported construction keeps the sensing circuit electrically isolated from the surrounding metal structure during measurement. It is installed near the designated heating area, with the probe positioned at the required sensing point.
