Description

The Traulsen 21993 Defrost Control is used to manage the cycle of cooling equipment by activating heating elements or adjusting compressor operation at scheduled intervals. It works by monitoring elapsed time or temperature and opening or closing electrical contacts, to initiate or terminate the defrost process. This control is installed inside the units control compartment where it mounts, to the panel and connects to the wiring harness. Its placement allows the defrost operation to be performed while maintaining proper coordination with the compressor and heating components for consistent performance.
