Description

The Imperial 28280 Ball Valve operates as a manual isolation point within connected piping. Turning the external handle rotates the internal ball, positioning it either in line with the passage or across the route. The 1-1/4" NPT designation describes the threaded port dimensions and tapered thread arrangement at the pipe interface. Internal seals surround the rotating element and limit leakage around the closure point. Commercial kitchen plumbing incorporates the fitting at a selected line section, permitting the fluid route to remain open or closed through handle positioning.
