Description

The Hobart 428112-000G1 Pilot Tube operates by directing gas to the pilot burner in commercial cooking equipment. It supplies a confined flow of gas to the pilot flame, which is the source of ignition for the main burners. The tube is also placed in the proper position so that the flame is in touch with the sensors, and this makes the ignition accurate and the gas is not leaked. It is installed in the burner assembly, and it is used together with thermocouples and safety control that the main burner is not turned on unless there is a pilot flame.
