Description

The Hobart 498158 Automatic Gas Pilot Safety Valve controls flow by monitoring the flame, with NAT/LP compatibility, a 1/4-inch FPT connection, and a Baso configuration designed for matching gas control systems. It opens or shuts off the gas supply based on the pilot flame status, allowing gas to reach the burner only under the required operating conditions. This is installed within the gas supply assembly of compatible commercial cooking equipment, where it connects between the gas line and burner control components. It operates as part of the appliance gas control and safety system.
