Description

The Hobart 801655 Contactor switches electrical power through a connected circuit. An energized coil moves internal contacts, changing the electrical path between open and closed states as the control signal changes. The three-pole arrangement switches circuit paths together, while 50A states the current capacity and 110/120V specifies the supply voltage. Installed within the electrical section, the contact assembly connects or separates power from the controlled circuit in response to the signal sent through the equipment controls.
