Description

The Market Forge 977181 Brass Washer is a flat spacer that is used to evenly spread pressure all over a fastened surface to prevent separating materials in the assembly process. It operates by snapping onto bolts or screws, keeping everything straight and minimizing friction between the parts being joined. This is used between a bolt head or nut and the surface to which it is attached, so that it provides a connection when used mechanically or in plumbing applications, but will allow the components to slide without direct metal-to-metal contact.
