Description

The Russell A3S1 Liquid Line Solenoid Valve regulates the movement of refrigerant by shifting an internal sealing element between open and closed positions in response to an electrical signal. The coil changes the position of the internal mechanism, while removing power returns it to its normal state to interrupt the flow path. The 1/4-inch ODF measurement defines the outside diameter connection provided for brazed tubing. Within commercial cooling systems, the controlled passage of coolant follows the electrical signal sequence assigned to the connected circuit.
