Description

The Blodgett R8650 Convection Oven Element 1.5kW 480V is a current-based heating element that has an internal resistance causing a conversion of electrical energy into thermal power. This heat is then transferred to the air adjacent to it which is then circulated by the internal fan to ensure that the temperatures in the cooking chamber are kept constant. This heating element is attached to the rear or side interior wall of the oven unit and is connected to the power supply using terminals. The circular form provides maximum contact of surface space to ensure effective distribution of heat in the different high-volume baking and roasting cycles in a commercial kitchen setting.
