Description

The Federal Industries 32-18245 Refrigerator Thermo Expansion Valve TXV regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator according to the temperature and pressure changes in the cooling circuit. It has a metering system through which the refrigerant flow is adjusted by information from a sensing bulb that maintains superheat conditions at the inlet of the evaporator. It is to be mounted on proper commercial refrigeration systems, in the liquid line before the evaporator coil, to control the distribution of refrigerant over a cooling operation.
