Description

The Groen GR79803 Ignition Control is an electronic module that controls the ignition sequence and flame sensing of gas-fired heating systems. It operates by starting a pre-purge cycle after a set time, and then sending high-voltage spark signals to the pilot assembly to ignite the gas, then checking the flame through a detection circuit to ensure secure operation. This ignition control is fitted inside the control panel of suitable braising pans and kettles, and works directly with the gas and electrical systems. The unit automatically turns off the ignition attempt for safety if it does not see a flame during the test period.
