Description

The Nor-Lake 140912 Expansion Valve 1/4" 2 X 3 ODF FBJ-1/4-C is used that senses temperature and pressure changes at the sensing bulb and adjusts the opening of the valve to regulate the amount fed into the evaporator. It controls the internal needle position to compensate for the superheat conditions to ensure that it is expanded as needed when cooling cycles occur to meter the flow into the evaporator coil. It is used in commercial systems at the liquid line before the evaporator to facilitate service and integration in cold storage and reach-in applications within the sealed circuit.
