Description

The Pitco PP11209 Pasta Cooker Element Flat Bar 208V 12.5kW converts electrical energy to heat using a resistance heating element that enables the metal bar to heat quickly, when current is applied to it. The heat produced is directly passed onto the water in the tank, and this increases the temperature to levels that are sufficient to boil and cook. The element has a power output of 12.5 kilowatts and operates at 208 volts which is used to support the heating cycle required when preparing pasta using commercial kitchen equipment.
