Description

The Scotsman F630005-00 Bin Thermostat is a temperature-sensing control for ice machine bin systems to monitor the ice level. It does this by monitoring the temperature within the storage bin and notifying the control system when the bin reaches a pre-set condition, which supports controlling the ice-making cycle by enabling or stopping production. This is a part that is placed within the ice machine bin area, usually close to the ice storage compartment. The thermostat detects changes in the temperature of the bins by a sensing element in the thermostat that modifies electrical continuity to initiate responses to the bins.
