The Star Mfg WS-85853 Warming Element is a 200-watt, 120-volt electrical heating element that is installed in commercial foodservice warming equipment. It operates by generating controlled heat to make sure that ready foodstuffs are maintained at the appropriate holding temperatures. This element is usually attached to compatible Star warming units display warmers or holding stations to ensure even heating of the warming surface. Practically, it is modified during the servicing or maintenance of the machine to restore normal temperature control, in order to enable the machine.
