Description

The General Electric XND16X5 Vacuum Breaker 125 PSI 180°F introduces air into the water line when a vacuum condition occurs, reducing the chance of reverse flow within the piping system. It closes as water pressure returns to normal, allowing the line to continue operating without manual adjustment. This vacuum breaker is placed on water supply connections for commercial sinks, foodservice equipment and other plumbing systems that require backflow prevention. Its 1/2-inch NPT, connection supports compatibility with standard threaded piping configurations.
