Description

The Hobart 855285-00002 Steamer Door Gasket Retainer secures sealing material around an access opening in the 5-Pan configuration. The formed retaining edge grips the gasket and prevents the flexible strip from shifting away from the surrounding channel. Its placement follows the frame perimeter and creates a stable seat for the sealing material against the adjoining surface. Fitted along the enclosure frame, the holder maintains the gasket edge properly aligned as the access section moves inward and presses against the mating surface during the steaming process.
