Description

The Hobart 855285-2 Steamer Door Gasket Retainer anchors sealing material at the edge of an access opening that supports the 5-Pan arrangement. A shaped retaining section receives the flexible strip and limits movement along the frame as the adjoining section closes. The surrounding channel supports the sealing edge while the holder maintains the material seated around the perimeter. Secured against the frame, the retaining structure positions the strip at the junction between adjoining surfaces, allowing compression against the mating area when the access section reaches its closed position.
