Description

The Berkel 3875-00138 Slicer Sharpener Slice Deflector operates by deflecting sliced goods away from the edge of the rotating blade as soon as they are cut so that part doesn't fold back into the cutting area. The sloped surface of the blade catches the food as it falls and guides it gently onto the receiving tray or platter. In commercial food slicers, the component is installed in the main carriage area, close to the sharpener assembly and cutting blade housing, next to the sharpener.
