Description

The Southbend 1164209 Gas Burner Valve manages fuel delivery into the combustion section through a manually adjusted flow passage. Rotation of the internal stem moves the closure within the structure and changes the amount of fuel traveling between connected supply points. The NAT/LP specifies natural gas and liquid propane service, while each connection measures 1/8 inch with MPT threading, the stem measures 0.240 inch, and adjustment follows a 90-degree rotation. Positioned in the supply path, the valve responds to stem movement by changing passage conditions before fuel reaches the burner during heating.
