Description

The Southbend SOU4440409 Gas Valve regulates fuel delivery through the heating assembly. An internal closure shifts within the valve structure and changes the opening available for passage from the supply connection. Incoming fuel enters the housing and follows the controlled route toward the downstream burner connection as the valve position changes. By altering the internal opening, the assembly controls how much fuel proceeds through the connected line and establishes the required flow condition between the incoming supply and the burner-side passage during heating operation.
