Description

The Groen 012838 Thermostat regulates equipment heat by opening or closing an electrical circuit as temperature changes. The sensing element responds to heat near the cooking area and signals the control contacts to switch accordingly. Measuring 5/16-inch in diameter by 7-1/2 inches long the sensing section fits the designated mounting point. Installed inside compatible commercial cooking equipment, its 48-inch capillary extends between the control housing and sensing position. The S-Type arrangement specifies the required path through the appliance, while the 200-400°F range sets the temperatures at which switching occurs.
