Description

The Groen GR004589 Thermostat responds to heat changes by switching the electrical circuit at the selected setting. A sensing element detects temperature within the cooking area and moves the internal contacts as heat rises or falls. Its sensing tube is 5/16-inch in diameter and 7-1/2 inches long, fitting the assigned mounting position. Installed within compatible commercial cooking equipment, the 48-inch capillary extends between the control housing and sensing point. The S-Type configuration determines the required routing, while the 200-400°F range establishes the operating temperatures for circuit switching.
