Description

The Groen 12838 Thermostat senses temperature changes and switches an electrical circuit as heat rises or falls. Its sensing section measures 5/16-inch in diameter and 7-1/2 inches long fitting the designated mounting position. The control operates across a 200-400°F range allowing the contacts to respond at selected heat levels. Installed inside compatible commercial cooking equipment, a 48-inch capillary connects the sensing area with the control housing. Its S-Type arrangement corresponds to the required path, while internal contacts open or close the circuit as cooking temperatures change during operation.
