Description

The Groen GR12838 Thermostat monitors cooking heat and changes an electrical circuit as the temperature rises or falls. Its sensing tube detects the surrounding temperature and signals the internal contacts to switch at the selected setting. The control covers a 200-400°F range for the specified cooking application. Measuring 5/16-inch in diameter and 7-1/2 inches long the sensing section fits within its assigned position. Installed inside compatible commercial cooking equipment, the 48-inch capillary uses an S-Type configuration to connect the sensing area with the control housing.
